Rachael Mayne

Biography

A safety professional for over 23 years, Rachael delivers safety advice at strategic and operational levels across a range of industries, including the retail motor industry, oil and gas, public sector (higher education and local authority) and facilities management. Rachael is committed to leading effective health and safety management in the workplace through building client relationships, and working closely with client mangers at all levels in the organisation.

Rachael is also a registered EHS Consultant with the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR) scheme, which encompasses the following:

• Detailed understanding of a wide range of health and safety issues, current legislation, and industry best practice. Knowledge and experience can be transferred to new challenges to achieve client project targets.
• Excellent knowledge of HSE management system frameworks, including OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, as well as being an accredited BSI Lead Auditor for OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001.
• Excellent communication to quickly build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and partners, promoting a positive and trusting working environment to achieve client goals.
• Technically competent in understanding of various industry workplaces/cultures, with experience in applying the principals of safety management within large and multi-site businesses.
